What's Coming Up.

New in Music.

I'm spending most of my time transcribing music on my CD's into sheet music, so although there are a few tunes rattling around like bones in search of a skeletal frame, most of what's coming up will be sheet music.  Stay tuned for new offerings in this space.

New Writing.

I have one new major piece -- "SummerDance" -- about a twelve-year-old boy growing up in Detroit during the riot summer of 1967.  This one's been around since 1988, and I've rewritten it about 3 times.  Going on 4 now -- I have a major rewrite of it (interrupted by getting this website set up!), which will probably be followed by a couple of more shaping passes.  (Oh, will I EVER be done with this one??)

As far as poetry goes, who can predict when the next one will just drop into my skull?  But it does seem about time that the muse slap me upside the head.
